With decades of experience in pulmonary and critical care medicine, Dr. Visco is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-focused care. A Philadelphia-trained physician, he completed his residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania – Hahnemann University, Drexel University College of Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Visco has gained extensive expertise, including his tenure at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia, where he honed his skills in managing cancer-related pulmonary conditions.
Board-certified and highly proficient, Dr. Visco specializes in treating a wide range of pulmonary and sleep disorders. Since 2021, he has been serving the South Jersey community, bringing his wealth of knowledge and unwavering dedication to his practice. His compassionate approach and commitment to improving patient outcomes have made him a trusted figure in the field.
Dr. Visco’s exceptional care and expertise have earned him numerous accolades throughout his career. Laura Nastasi, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University and brings a strong clinical background to the practice. Her areas of expertise include chronic disease management, acute care treatment, and comprehensive patient education.
Laura is deeply committed to serving the Cape May Court House community. Her philosophy centers on teamwork—both with her medical colleagues and her patients. “I look forward to partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals, provide high-quality, compassionate care, and improve their overall well-being,” she says.
Karena Gaines
Office Supervisor
Karena Gaines is the Office Supervisor for DPV Consultants, PA, bringing over 15 years of experience in the medical field. Her background includes working with Cooper University Hospital and Cooper Cape Regional Urgent Care in Nursing Administration, where she has supported multiple departments including the ICU, PCU, Med-Surg, ER, Behavioral Health, and the OR. Through this experience, Karena has developed strong skills in healthcare operations, patient coordination, and team support. She takes pride in being dependable and helping ensure efficient, high-quality service. Outside of work, Karena is family-oriented and a proud mom of three children, ages 14, 7, and 1. She values spending quality time with her family and believes that balance, compassion, and commitment are important in both her personal and professional life.
Maritta Visco
Billing, Marketing & Claims
Maritta Visco brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, along with more than 20 years of expertise in marketing. In her role, she supports billing and claims while also leading marketing efforts to promote the practice and expand its reach. Maritta is dedicated to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, assisting with patient services, answering phone calls, and providing a welcoming and helpful experience for everyone who interacts with the practice.
Outside of work, Maritta enjoys crocheting baby blankets and generously donates them to local churches and organizations. She is also a devoted mother of three, balancing her professional responsibilities with caring for her family. Watersports are a big part of their family life, including boating, fishing, and jet skiing.
Cathy Fox
Medical Receptionist
Cathy is a dedicated and compassionate medical receptionist with a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and administrative support. With experience in managing front-desk operations, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient confidentiality, she strives to create a welcoming and efficient environment for every visitor. Her communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask help ensure that patients and medical staff receive seamless service.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys cooking and baking, taking walks, and having get-togethers with family and friends filled with lots of laughter.
Caitlynn Green
Medical Assistant
Caitlynn is a Medical Assistant at Dr. Visco’s office. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration in 2024 and is deeply passionate about patient care and supporting a positive healthcare experience. Outside of work, Caitlynn enjoys spending time with her two sons and helping run a local nonprofit AAU basketball team, the CMC Bulldogs, in the community.
Evey Bell
Respiratory Technician
Evey is a certified Exercise Physiologist and Respiratory Technician for DPV Consultants, P.A. She graduated from Liberty University with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science—one focusing on strength and conditioning, and the other on fitness specialization. Outside of work, Evey has a strong passion for fitness. She is a personal trainer, a powerlifting coach, and a competitive powerlifter. She balances her life and her lifting by spending quality time with her friends and family.
Nathaly Urquilla
Medical Assistant
Nathaly is thrilled to be working with such a lovely team, who have helped her immensely on her Medical Assistant journey. At the practice, Nathaly handles patient intakes and assists with various clinical administrative duties. She is currently a full-time student at Stockton University while working part-time at the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and loves hiking and kayaking.
